The Indiana University Kokomo Library's collection of 1.3 million items includes many diverse and special collections. The materials that comprise these collections span physical, online, and multimedia formats.

These remarkable collections include:

  • Campus Archives, the official repository for the records of Indiana University Kokomo that have long-term historical, legal, fiscal, and administrative value
  • Government Information Collection, a Federal and state depository library featuring congressional bills, laws, presidential documents, reports, and more
  • Special Collections, a collection of archival materials and rare books

About Indiana University Kokomo Library

The Indiana University Kokomo Library is the academic hub of campus and is one of the busiest buildings on campus. Just inside the entrance, you will find study rooms with screen sharing stations for group work, booths with high backs for partitions, and lots of reading nooks. Keep exploring, and you'll find a variety of lounge chairs, dozens of computer workstations, and carrels for quiet study.

The current library building opened in 1995, but the Library's roots date back to the 1965. The first floor of the library was renovated in fall 2015.
