At Indiana University Kokomo in the School of Education, you can earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and/or Secondary Education, allowing you to be eligible for teaching licenses in the State of Indiana. You can also earn coursework within programs that allow you to be eligible for a license in Special Education. In addition, we offer a program for those members of our community with a previously earned bachelor's degree not in Education that are interested in a teaching license in a Secondary content area through our Change to Education (C2E) programs. Our highly qualified faculty and staff are committed to your teaching preparation and performance, as well as to the P-12 student learning in our region. Thus these programs are grounded in field experiences in a variety of settings to give you access to the classroom throughout your program.
