Student ID Cards

Your Indiana University Kokomo student ID card officially identifies you as an IU Kokomo student.

IU Kokomo students are required to have a valid student ID card to:

• Use campus computer labs
• Check out resources from the library
• Purchase software in the bookstore
• Sell books back in the bookstore

Student ID FAQ

Where do I get my student ID card?

New IU Kokomo students get their student ID cards during their orientation session. If you were unable to obtain your card during orientation or your first week of class, you may set up an appointment to get your card. However, you cannot do this until your first week of classes. To set up an appointment, contact activities@iuk.edu.

What are the hours for obtaining a new student ID?

Fall & Spring Semesters (first week of classes)

Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, noon to 5 p.m.

Do I need to bring anything with me when I get my student ID card?

In order to confirm your identity and your status as an IU Kokomo student, you will need to bring along a valid photo ID (such as a driver's license or a state ID card).

Do I need to get a new card every semester or year?

No, your IU Kokomo student ID card is valid as long as you are enrolled at IU Kokomo.

What if I lose my card?

To replace your card, please contact activities@iuk.edu to set up an appointment. A fee will be charged for replacement cards. The replacement fee is also charged for an official name change.
